The owners of the Draisey property on the east side of Rt. 719 south
have informed the Town of their desire to build approx. 30 new homes on
the 30+ acre property. Upon formalization of the Town's Boundary Line
Adjustment (BLA), this property will fall within Town limits, giving the
Town authority over the development (See
annexation for more
information on the BLA).

Mayor Etro
and representatives from the Town Council and Planning Commission held
a development workshop with Burke Homes and the Draiseys to begin
plans for Sleeter Lake Estates.

the charrette group received copies of a preliminary

for the property from the development company, Burke Homes. The
proposed name of the development is Sleeter Lake Estates. |

At the Town
Council meeting Mayor Etro stated that he had been approached by the
owners and developers of the Draisey property asking that the Town
participate in a charrette to create a concept design plan for the 30+
acre parcel. The town will be represented by a member of the Town
Council, Planning Commission and the public. The date of the charrette has not been scheduled, but is
likely to take place soon. |
