Memorial Ceremony
The events in the park begin at 10:45 a.m. with a wreath-laying and flag raising ceremony honoring our veterans.

Town Park Main Stage Entertainment
As in past years, take in the sights and sounds of a variety of entertainers on the main stage in the Town Park, organized by the Round Hill Arts Center. This year's schedule includes:

10:00-10:45 Loudoun Valley High School Jazz Band Jazz ensemble
12:00-12:45 Acoustic Burgoo Bluegrass, blues and country
2:15-3:15 Szechenyi & Cornelius Conway Chill jazz guitarist/vocalist and bass player feature covers of bands like Santana as well as some original tunes of their own
6:15-7:00 The Polka Dots Lively acoustic music all the way from oldtime & early jazz to bluegrass, gypsy music, blues & originals, too!
7:30-9:30 Sol & Funk Root An array of original, traditional, and cover songs  from fiery rock to laid-back jazz, and from funky innovative grooves to soulful ballads, always drawing on a deep background in blues.

Children's Games in the Park
The Western Loudoun Community Church and the Town of Round Hill will sponsor a series of games in the park. Old-fashioned games like balloon tosses and three-legged races will be featured as well as moon bounces and other carnival rides.

Fire Department Open House and Pig Roast
The Round Hill Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting an Open House and Pig Roast from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A Taste of the Vine
Join local vineyards for a sampling of their wines from 1-5 p.m. at the Old Furniture Factory. Oak Spring Dairy will be there with their cheeses to sample and purchase. Participants may also purchase bread to go along with the wine and cheese and enjoy their tastings under a big tent while listening to live music. 

Tickets can be purchased at the Old Furniture Factory and from Round Hill Business Association members for $10 each. Ticket price will include a free wine glass. All proceeds will benefit Genesis, International.  Carolyn and Wally Johnson will be at the event to discuss Genesis' activities in Africa.

Food Vendors
Hungry? In addition to the pig roast at the fire department, look for:

  • Savoir Fare will be serving lunch
  • Tammy's Diner will also be open for business serving a variety of lunch items.
  • The Round Hill Mini-Mart will be open for business throughout the day, offering an assortment of ice cream, snacks and cold drinks
  • The Round Hill Grocery also will be open to serve a variety of ice cream, snacks and cold drinks.

Evening Concert
The Round Hill Hometown Festival culminates in a post-dinner concert in the park with funk, reggae and blue band Sol & Funk Root. Bring blankets or lawn chairs and sit back and enjoy a concert under the stars -- or bring your dancing shoes and boogie the night away!
